Ram Oil Mixing

I am converting over to Fitch Ram Oil. I have about 1 gallon of Johnson Oil left in my 3.5 gallon VRO tank.Do you think it is OK to mix the new Ram Oil with the Johnson Oil? I have heard a few stories about mixing oils being a problem(clumping and thickening) <br />What say you guys????<br /><br />Reddog

They both tcw-3? Is one of them synthetic? I doubt they would coalesce. If you have any doubts call a dealer.<br /><br />JoeReeves???? any input? (he is an OMC guru here)<br /><br />Bob

It should be fine. If you have any doubt just run the motor some more (burn out a little more oil) and add the Ram oil. <br /><br />I am more concerned about water in the tank.<br /><br />Good luck!
