sorry to bother you again. i reinstalled everything as per my last post. before installed it back i pumped the piston and checked and added oil.
i put power to it thinking the smaller rams would move. they did not. i thought may be because there was no weight on it it would not move. i installed the unit back between the transom brackets and connected the large ram and when i removed the engine support the motor dropped as it did before we determined a rebuild was required. the motor sounds like its running fine but i cant get any movement out of the rams. i even unscrewed the air release valve under the motor and held the pin in to remove air but only oil came out. where do you think i went wrong?
