I like the quote "Learn from others' mistakes, because you don't have enough time to make them all yourself." Not only that, it tends to be cheaper too. <br />Otherwise I agree with you guys. This is my first boating season, I haven't really made any mistakes yet, but I'm sure I will. I did forget to raise the sterndrive before loading the boat on the trailer once, but I did remember before pulling out of the water thankfully. And when I do make my intitiation mistake (ya know, the big one), I'm sure someone will be watching.

I've been doing the ramp tango solo for a few years with a 16 ft bowrider. I had that down good. This will be my first launch on a cuddy cabin at 20ft. I still haven't got the picture in my head of how I will accomplish this. I feel certain that a weird story will follow shortly! Wish me luck!
