Hey nwcove. I decided to come down your way today. The weather finally cleared after, as you know, almost a week of rain. It was a last minute decision but I'm glad I did. Any your right, very beautiful scenic area. I did take in a few side roads as well. How about that abandoned motel down at The Pointe area. Very fascinating. I hope you don't mind me sharing these couple of pics. I promise I'm not trying to steal your thunder but showing off what nice area you live. And these pictures do no justice to the area. I'm really impressed.

i may have seen you taking pics in northwest cove (nwcove) yesterday afternoon around 3ish?
the abandoned motel was supposed to be a "sea spa", never ever got completed, and the original developer just walked away from it.
the red boat in the foreground of the castle is my next door neighbors boat, he doesnt use it to go boating tho, just gets used as a place to sit and relax.
is beach pic at bayswater? looks like i can see the ledges breaking .

A few pics from my dock of Sunset a few days ago. I will only put a few here, I took pics every few minutes until the Sun was gone and a few of the Orange glow after while sipping on a cold adult beverage.

No nw, I was down there around noon or 1. I was home in time to watch the race for 2 so it was earlier. Very nice piece of heaven down there, that's for sure. Yes the beach was at Bayswater. And I like your neighbours idea for relaxing. I wish I could relax like that..lol.

my neighbor is a retired prof from ontario, up in his late 70's now, he goes to the boat to write, perfect setting for that! a couple of weekends ago, i was puttin around with the old 58 7.5, and Mr.Lahey ( trailer park boys show) came aboard. ( im not a fan of the show, but hes a case!) it is nice boating here in the summer.
im hoping to get a few pics ( work permitting) of the opening day of lobster season, when the boats leave the wharf, its truely amazing to watch them go laden down with traps....i look back to when i was doing the commercial fishing thing, and think....that doesnt look safe! lol

Beautiful Sunset's, Have you ever seen a North Atlantic sunset flash. It's a pretty amazing site, somewhat like the northern lights effect.
