Walleyehed, I,ve read ur tests, very precise , most of the specs are very close, I know that gaining mpg is measured in single digits , at least with my boat! The never ending search for the perfect prop goes on , and walleyehed u did give me advice to buy a stilleto bay2 4, but a little pricey up here . What I,m looking for is a prop for best speed and best stern lift, this 013078 used I can buy for a decent price . Any opinions on the rapture 13 1/4 x19 , what can I expect ? Right now on my boat is the omc sst 19p 389510, 1994 120 johnson . I can get about 5500 wot. Is there really any difference between the 2 ? Like u Walleyehed Im always looking for the best results!

dang, sorry to have missed this guys!
This is kind of a tough question to give an exact answer to...Hummmm.
The Rapture is going to fall real close design-wise to the OMC SST.
The efficiency will be ever-so-slightly higher but may not be noticable in the long-run. "Technically" the Rapture may run higher but that 1/4" is only 1/8" bigger radius....Blade shape and design are too close to say 1 will do better. Neither is a true "stern-lifter".
With the RPM where it is I believe I would try a 176214 (OMC) alum. 14X17 and see if we can get the rpm up to 5800-5900...this is the WOT target that will give best economy at a cruise of 3800-4200.That 120 is still working pretty hard at 5500 tops.
MWC has a particular 3 bld that made better numbers than the OMC 176214 but I "think" you're looking for stainless...???
Man, I really think the BayPro 18P 4bld would lift soooo much better and lessen the wetted surface but I also understand they can be pricey on the other side.
Let me do some looking....maybe Dhadley will join in with a suggestion too.

Love the recommendations walleyehed... great to have experienced feedback like this!

It always comes down to money when you're chasing your dreams, my dreamchasing buddy! Time to start shoppin for that BayPro 18P 4bld!

It sounds like it's a better match overall, and might keep the 120 from blowing a gasket  after I land that 50 pounder this year :)

Leo, will you tell me what year, make and model of boat and motor you have this prop on as well as the degrees of deadrise in the hull, and what speed you are attaining at 5,500 RPM. I believe there is a 4 blade aluminum prop that will suit your needs very well and only cost about $ 120 US and it will probably raise your RPM to where they need to be.

Thks guys Jetboater, Walleyehed , and Hwsiii, I did not buy the rapture prop , God knows I need another . IN my arsenal I have a OMC 389948 17p , 176215 20p..??? not sure kind or the pitch he said it was reworked to a 20p, and a solas 4 blade 19 p aluminum It sounds like the stilleto 11 4 18p will be the next in line , but thats a little far off for now . Boating season hasnt started here yet. I always run at WOT when water conditions are right nothin less , I guess with my boat being so narrow , like a canoe as my buds put it the african queen lol, but I still love her as she does well in rough water conditions, have not seen nothin that can handle the chop like her A TERMINATOR , Its built on the panga design but prob a little narrower. She measures 68 inches from center to center on the gunnels and the wetted surface on plane is more like 60 inches or less . so I wont bore u with these numbers, and Hwsiii I will get that info u want and go from there, 1 other thing im on the second last hole from the top on the transom . tks all .........
