Nice Grady Tony, Guess we have some comon huh? graduating from our l-6s to the big boys! haha. So your saying the housing i have in the attachments is useable? The two ports from the therm (top cover) go to the man. then the mani goes to the exchanger? Kinda get it but without a diagram with a clear pic of therm housing (unlike the manual shows) it's hard to figure out all of the system. I also have 4 other ports on the lower therm. housing.

my therm housing has only 2 ports.............I don't thing the 1 you have would be applicable.

Your right Tony, I need the therm block and the therm cover with only two outlets. Then i need the spacer blocks with an outlet under the risers with the block off plates, What i'm wondering now is If i put the blocks i think their 3" under the risers, what will i need to extend the exhaust from the Y to the risers? Must be 3" extensions for those? (looking)

Here's a thought, Instead of puting a block under the risers. Whay can't i just put the blocking plate there and put the end cap with the outlet on it? Like the l-6 setups have, My manifolds are the older log style anyway with the risers in the aft end of the engine. This way i wouldn't have to raise the risers and ad to the exhaust. Can this be done?

Anyone? (see previous) can an Manifold end plate be substituted in place of an under the riser block? (for Full closed system) thanks

For a full system you need to change the manifold to elbow gasket. The part number of the gasket you need is 27-8637251.

If I was doinf it I would upgrade to the center riser mainfold/riser set-up............I know it's more $$ but it might be easier in the long run.

Hey Chris, good to see ya! The gaket your refering to is the steel block off, correct? Also, do you guys get what i'm asking? Instead of raisng the risers to install the blocks for closed system, I can just ad the manifold end caps and feed the manifolds from there, right?

your proposing to do the same set=up I had on my IL6............there was an upgrade for that also to reverse the flow..........

Yeah i did the reverse on my L-6 that worked great. Doesn't seem to be to bad of a job if i can use the end caps instead of the under riser blocks.

I love this forum!!! I was thinking it would be a good idea to change out my salt only RWC. Thanks Don S for pointing out that it could cause as many problems as it would solve.
