Raw water shower

I have a Carver with a washdown connection on the bow and a shower at the stern. They both take the water supply from the onboard tank. I am thinking about trying to convert them so I have a choice.
The only seacock I have, is used for the head and it's midship and somewhat accessible.

Would it be best to put in a junction from that, or find another source?

Has anybody done this?

Re: Raw water shower

Why would you want a raw water washdown (with the exception of cleaning the anchor when hauling it up)?

I would take the water from the current thru-hull and put a more powerful pump there. The less thru-hull fittings you have, the better.

You only have one seacock? Do you have A/C or an on-board generator? Both of those are usually required to have their own dedicated water supply. Same with the inboard engines (if you're equipped with them).
