RD-15 & RD-21 interchangeability -Part Numbers - tiller handles

Hello - curious if anyone has a parts manual for an RD-15 - 1954 Johnson 25hp and can tell me the part number for the tiller assembly ? i'm curious to know if it's interchangeable with the later 1959 model RD-21 tiller assembly . there's mention that perhaps the throttle gear assemblies are not the same ?

do you happen to know what the change was exactly ? i'm looking at exploring the possibility of combining a couple different years of parts at this point - if one were to use both tiller handle section AND the section back into the cowl to deal with the change .
the RD15 casting LOOKS similar (in photos) to the RD-21 type.

I've been at it since last June and have no intentions to stop - it depends on your perspective of hard enough or not I guess ? I'm only going to go at it hard enough to solve the problem - should be good right ?

It would take me a few minutes to find the year. Meanwhile, here is the 1954 parts list

Looks like 1956 was mid-year change in the gears. Nevertheless, there were major changes in the steering brackets and mid-section between 1954 and 1955 and again in 1958-59, however the tiller remained the same, except for the gears.

thanks - very useful - part numbers are sadly not the same - the handle casting 'looks' identical though .
I had a line on an RD-15 parts motor with tiller for less than a tiller assembly... looks like that not the solution to this project - thank you very much for your help F_R !
