Re power from Johnson to Johnson

I'm switching from a Johnson gt 150 to a Johnson oceanrunner 200 on my 87 ebbtide dynatrack. I got a 5" jackplate coming in mail. Is there any adapters I can use for harness? and what about the controls the guy gave me the new ones should I use those or will mine work? This is a new to me boat I'm used to a tiller outboard so this stuff is very new to me. Thank you in advance

Are you.sure you need the jackplate not all the saltwater motors are 25" legs. If . If the 200 controls are easy to install use them. If you want to use the 150 controls I believe CDI Electronics.makes.the adaptor.

thank you for the feed back, I think the controls shouldn't be too hard I was looking at how they were routed today so I guess I'll give it a shot ! I was told I needed a jack plate so I ordered a manual one I guess worst case is I'll be able to fine tune it?
