My lower unit oil is emulsified, and I need to reseal it. It is a 1965 40 hp selectric. It's been awhile since I've had one apart, but my recollection was it was similar to the manual in that there is a prop shaft and drive shaft seal, an o-ring where the prop shaft housing meets the drive shaft housing, and a spaghetti seal around the prop shaft .. similar to the manual shift (without the shift rod o-ring).

I was about to order a seal kit from this site:

http://www.sterndrive.info/outboardmotor/johnson_outboard_seal_kits.html

but the picture for their kit for the electric shift (87621) doesn't look anything like the one for the manual shift (87607) .. and is nearly twice as much money. thoughts?

Thanks
