re: Suzuki 4-stroke(115)map sensor alarm

Moriches Boat&Motor(NY)tuned engine and replaced map sensor($800)

First charter sensor/alarm goes on. They say not responsible, must be bad batteries/connections.

2001 engine..no rpm reduction..runs great for last 50 hours..new batteries and solid connections.

check engine code flashing 3-2 with alarm off and on(80% on) during that laST 50 HOURS OF USE.

help!!

Re: Suzuki 4-stroke(115)map sensor alarm

The 3-2 code indicates the map sensor pressure detect passage. 2004/5 service PRO 4 stroke DF4-140 manual, page 69. If engine is getting lots of oil in intake manifold. THe baffel drain in the valve cover needs to be checked, per service solutions handout 2004. High time engine, time for leak down test, for excessive blowby. Has it ever has the 02 feedback check been done? Due at 400 hours or 2 year point. If you are close to Va, I can get you dealer name that can fix it.

I m not happy with that dealer either . does anyone know what code 2 4 is for the 1999 suzuki df50 . it stalls at low rpm and gags over 4k rpm. just had a fuel pump done also.
