Ready for a new prop--Dhadley Kenny?

Currently I am running a Rapture 14 1/4 X 21 SS prop on my 18' Center Console with a 150HP Mariner. I have Smart Tabs on the boat and I get on plane satisfactorily. Right now I'm getting about 43MPH GPS at 5300RPM. After reading all of the posts where the Rapture seems to be referred to as the "red-headed step-child" of the SS prop world, I think it is time to go for a more high-tech prop for my rig. I use the boat for various purposes and will keep the Rapture as my spare. I do some wakeboarding and the prop does pretty well for that. I also do a good amount of SCUBA diving that takes me anywhere from 11-35 miles offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, and I also do some fishing that also puts me in the Gulf as well as Tampa Bay. What brand and pitch should I be looking towards for my upgrade?

BTW: Full tank is 70 gallons, 2 batteries, and if I'm diving 4 tanks of compressed air and dive gear and spearfishing equip. for 2 people.

Is the motor mounted on the transom or a bracket or a jackplate?

It's mounted on the transom.<br /><br />Sorry for the delay in response. I was in Mexico for the weekend.

Oh sure, rub it in. You're off on vacation and the rest of us had to stay and work.....<br /><br />Anyway, if it's mounted all the way down have you experimented with raising the engine any?

Not yet... That is the next experiment, but as it is now, I get a little blowout when the motor is fully trimmed. I have Smart Tabs, so I'm not really experiencing any porpoising.
