Re: Rear ended boat
I picked up my boat and I started the repair myself,when to take some pic's,batterys were died!Then rain sunday.Good thing was,the damage was not as bad as it looked.When I built this boat,laying the center stringer,I mixed up some putty to bed in the stringers,then glassed in.What it comes down to,not much cutting on the outside other then the gelcoat and some glass.<br />After repairing the glass,I had got two coats of gelcoat applyed.Now I just have to sand down that second coat and maybe touch up with a third,sand and wax it out.Not bad for a days work.<br />Bad thing,after inspection in the back decking,one of the batterys dump over from the wreck,acid all over the livewell pump and beilge pump too!Looks like I might have to replace them and some wiring too!
