Rear main seal on 5.7 GXI

So... pulled the coupler off - the one that was bent - and while I was there, I figured I might as well pull the flywheel off and look at the rear seal. To my surprise, it looks like it has a slow leak. I had already wiped off most the oil before I took this photo. Assuming I should replace it...? 2006 5.7 GXI-G ~450 Hours. IMG_2123.JPG

you can do it without removing the pan, however its about 10x times harder. or just pull the pan, pull the adapter, remove the seal, clean up the adapter, install new seal, then re-install everything.
