Hi Guys
Attached is instructions from the engineer's manual for the re-assembly of the valve lifters on my AQQ205.
Problem I have is it is proving basically imposible to compress the inner piston down enough to get a pin in to hold it down whilst I fill the top with oil. Even tried it without the main plunger spring and coudln't do it. So is it OK to simply re-assemble, drop the piston in and position it as far down as possible, fill the top with oil and then finish assembly? I am guessing the difference between that and the required method is that there will be little or no oil in the bottom half of the valve lifter and I am nor sure whether it has a hydraulic purpose or just lubrication.
Cheers, Quinton
