Looking for pistons and rings. Can someone point me in the right direction. This is a 1955 model and their doesn’t seem to be a listing for parts on this engine. Thank you

I would install the rods and pistons from a 61 / 62 / 63 model 10 HP.----Much better with a hefty bearing on the wrist pin.----Same bearing as used on a 125 HP V-4 model.

I would think that any 10hp Johnson motor would have the same bore and stroke but I see so many different part numbers and so I don’t know what the difference is. Thank you for that info.

Ok thanks. I’m still learning how to use this site. I am not computer savvy. I don’t even know what most of the symbols mean. Enjoy your night God bless

I just checked that site. The original part number for the piston is 376202 and the rings are 301787. I seen a piston with a different part number but still no application for the rings. Thank you. Trying to connect with some Antique Johnson engine builders. Thank you

Well part number 21 shows your part number (not available) and then shows additional part numbers so not sure if those parts might be upgrades. You could always call them.

I am rebuilding a 1963 model this fall.-----I have many 10 HP models.----I recommend that you fit the 61 / 62 / 63 model rods and pistons.----End of the story.
