Just wondering if there is anyone here who has built their own back to back lounge seats.
I already have the seat boxes built so it's not that much of a stretch. It's just offset hinges between each piece and scissor hinges to fold them down.
I'm looking at getting a quote to recover existing seat frames and if it's reasonable then I'll take a crack at it.
I'll take some pictures tomorrow before I start cutting the existing seats up to look at the innards. It just looks like it's a seat with sides on 3 edges and the corners cut or sanded round.
There is always more to it than that but just looking to see if anyone else has tried it.
I'm getting dinged anywhere from 225-349 for shipping if I'm looking at buying new. If I lived in the US I'd just walk into any sale and snap some up
