I disassembled the fuel pump, reassembled, but am now questioning if it was properly reassembled. There seems to be little, to no documentation on the net about proper assembly.

The engine runs, but its been dying out. This could be because of a handful of other issues im working on, BUT, i'd like to rule out the fuel pump as a factor by getting it back together 100% right.

The damn thing is like a puzzle. If I took photos of each "layer" and gave the model # would you guys be willing to give a step by step?

Even worse, you would think these would cost 10 bucks. Id just buy a new one then. But I see them for $80. That link ooks like a different puzzle

On mine the casting plate says 312631. Part of the plastic/assembly says 329974.

I google these numbers and ofcourse find variations. No assembly instructions. Plenty of pumps that look just like it (from the outside). They may all be the same exact one. Unfortunately I cant know for sure unless I see the insides.

Fortunately each plastic layer has unique edges, so photos may help with proper direction/alignment etc.

What it looks like

Same exact motor/pump (on the outside atleast)

The factory repair kit comes with very good pictures and instructions.--Makes it simple in my opinion.

I shouldnt have said "rebuild", as in, repairing/fixing. I simply disassembled the original and want to re-assemble. Nothing purchased.
