That's the weird thing. Getting fewer revs and the same speed and maxed out at the hammer. 32MPH @ 3800-4000 WOT. Before was 32MPH @ 4300 WOT. Must have something to do with the slightly different prop. Old one wasn't exactly made for the boat, the thrust washer was too thick and the prop was cavatating. It was a 14.5 x 19 but looked A LOT differently than a Merc prop and no one could figure out who made it. I put on a Merc Aluminum 14.5 x19. Completely changed the hole shot. It even planes and runs best WITHOUT the hydro foil!

I think I may try a 15x17...

I may be running too rich which could be causing my throttle issues (separate, recent, post)

You had two threads running in different places about basically the same exact subject. You probably should inquire if your carb rebuild included a marine accelerator pump in the carb during the rebuild.

One is prior to the the rebuild with different symptoms. The new one was with different symptoms (the prior symptoms were fixed) and was after the rebuild. I think this is two different subjects... but you're the boss.

...accelerator pump in the carb during the rebuild.

They did the pump; but this NEW issues is probably not related to the pump because the problem occurs 10-20 seconds after the throttle is increased and the pump only pushes gas when dropping the hammer.
