That's the weird thing. Getting fewer revs and the same speed and maxed out at the hammer. 32MPH @ 3800-4000 WOT. Before was 32MPH @ 4300 WOT. Must have something to do with the slightly different prop. Old one wasn't exactly made for the boat, the thrust washer was too thick and the prop was cavatating. It was a 14.5 x 19 but looked A LOT differently than a Merc prop and no one could figure out who made it. I put on a Merc Aluminum 14.5 x19. Completely changed the hole shot. It even planes and runs best WITHOUT the hydro foil!
I think I may try a 15x17...
I may be running too rich which could be causing my throttle issues (separate, recent, post)
