Rebuilt carbs

With the help of others here, I have successfully rebuilt the carbs on my '76 85hp and she now runs on all 4 cylinders, which is a huge improvement. Now I have a new question. I'm wondering if I goofed something in this simple job. All this is on the hose with muffs as I just finished and haven't had a chance to water test yet. She seems to smoke a bit more than usual (possibly rich fuel mix, fresh tank mixed for this), and it shakes a bit more than it did. Any ideas or just run it and see how it performs? It starts with ths slightest bump of the key and no choke.

Re: Rebuilt carbs

One of two things come to mind....

You are indeed running rich
-or-
Your now actually burning 4 cylinders so exhaust will be greater. I think the smoke your seeing is just a cause from getting the motor to run on 4 cylinders. Lake test and check plugs to make sure your not running rich/lean

Will do. The bottom carb seems to be spitting a little fuel out every so often.
