This is my first post, I have a 2006 tahoe q6 ski fish 305 powered, love it bought it used fom texas and had it hauled to cali. I had tons of trouble with the tks 2 barrel carb, so off it went now it is topped with a edelbrock rpm and a holley 750dbl pumper I know kinda big but ebay deals you can't pass up so rebuilt it added elec choke now I can't keep it off the rev limiter at 4900rpm doing 54mph speedo with a 21p offshore prop, oh yeah I also added thru transom exhaust wow it sounds awesome for a 305 mercruiser must have added some duration to the cam. how much hp can an alpha 1 gen 2 handle I want to build a mild 383 for more hole shot. also can the rev limiter be changed on the ignition, or swapped out for some msd ign, Thanks Dennis
