I'm not even sure what "tabbed to the hull" means. But here's a picture of a rip in the carpet, showing the deck underneath - doesn't look glasses in to me, and I think that I remember reading a thread somewhere that said Crowns didn't start glassing in their floors until mid-2000s, only glued carpet to XL ply:

Where the deck runs into the hull, around its edges, the deck has fiberglass rolled up onto the hull sides, TABBING it to the hull

Maybe some of that ^^^ info will help w terms, boat parts and pieces and how to repair them.

Tabbing is shown in post #623, just above the big bold orange

Stringer update 3/11/2014

The tabbing ties the hull sides to the deck, across the deck and up the other side of the hull. 1 comtinous 'membrane' when the deck is glassed.

If the deck isnt glassed, at least the seams and tabbing should be
