Hi, I have just had 2 recirc hoses split in as many outings so I guess it's time to replace all recirc hoses. My question is, does any one know the total length of recirc hose on an 89 90hp v4 crossflow and can you still buy the original omc p/n 327229 hose or is automotive type vaccum hose acceptable. Thanks in advance.

Re: Recirc hose Johnson 90.

I would go with The correct hose from a dealer here. That recirc hose has a very small ID, and has to be a snug fit on the nipples. I don't know if you could find the correct hose at an auto store. When you replace the hose, do so one at a time, so that they go back in the correct order, and routing. If there are any nylon tee's in the system, replace them also. They are very fragile, and get worse with age.
