Re: recirc valves in intake manifold
Yes, it appears as though I am an Idiot....
120psi and small parts...good combo kenny.
OBJ, the residue I cleaned from the screens was on the reed-side of the screen, not inside, as in, screw the valve out and rub your finger across the end of the screen and it was just a blob of black goo...
It says in the manual to flush these with isopropyl, even while in the manifold and intake covers, so all "goo" would be flushed INTO the engine if there is anything in them....I chose to pull them out as to NOT flush them into the engine, and would like to know if the screens in the others ran "through" the engine????
The valves in the (actually, now that I think about it, the valves are in the intake covers, the fittings in the manifold are just that, "fittings")port covers have no screens, just an incredibly small orfice, which I can see would plug very easily, but the screen size in the fitting in manifold are of a size that would allow particles to flow through that would NOT go through the port cover fittings..?????
what to do, what to do...????
