hey everyone, new to boating and to the forum.

i just bought a 1997 Reinell RXL240. 24 foot with a cuddy. really sharp and sleek looking boat.

my question is, do any of you have any suggestions on what tower to buy? there are so many out there, and i really don't want to take away from the look of the boat. i've seen some on the lake that i really don't like, that may look slick on an open bow, but look really bulky on a cuddy.

again, my main concern is taking from the sleek look of the boat. my ideal price range is from $800 to $1200.

i would welcome and appreciate any suggestions or ideas any of you have. thanks ahead of of time :)

Garet,

The market is flooded with wakeboard towers do to the popularity of the sport. Start first with looking to find the ones you feel are apeeling, and will look good on your boat. Pro-flight and Monster both make quality towers, but may not look right on your boat. I own an Aerial tower, I really like the look, it contours the windshield, and folds down inside the boat for storage. Other things to consider are the warrenty on the tower and the customer service from the manufacturer. I've heard great things about Monster, and have delt with Aerial and am very satisfied.

Re: recommend a tower?

thanks for the advice.

i found one that i particulary like the looks of, the Big Air H2O. link

anyone have personal experience with them? they look like quality product and the accessories are reasonably priced. i can build the h20 tower with a rack, and mirror at just under 1200 even.

Re: recommend a tower?

just bought and installed a big air h20 tower, peelout, about 2 months ago thought i'd let you know that it is a great tower very sturdy, fairly easy to install yourself if your mechanically inclined.

It took me about 4 hours with the help of a friend. the hardest part is you have to drill like 20 holes through the stainless steel which is a pain in the butt. but other than that, over all its a great tower, heckuva value, you simply can't beat it.

I was skeptical about spending close to a grand on a tower and was wondering if it was worth the money, but it is definitely worth the money. so much easier to wakeboard and ski. Anyways just thoght id let you know a little info from someone first hand.

I had the H2O on my Ski Nautique. It was a great tower and you can't beat the price. I looked for about a year before I finally decided it. Best money I spent. Man I MISS THAT BOAT!!
