I bought my boat with knowing these gel repairs and at the time I didn't think much of them... but now after 2 years they bug the sh*t out of me... time to fix. But what would be the best method of this? I don't have too much gel-coat experience, but I can compound and polish no problem. I can handle epoxy pretty well to.

These are the easier repairs I want to get done...

These are the way more difficult ones...

The first two only require you to use a dremel tool and grind them out a bit, wash out with acetone and mix some Gelcoat paste to fill em in. Sand and Buff.

This will tell you about how to do the other two.

The biggest problem with Gelcoat is Color matching. It's an ART!!!! Very difficult to get a perfect match. Lots of patience and practice required. Proper lighting and a LOT of knowledge that I DON'T have. Yacht Dr. would be a good resource for you to send a PM to.

What gelcoat past would you use for the easy ones?
