Im fed up with my covers finally. The one that came with boat was a quality West Marine canvas cover. Lost its water repelancy. I've tried MaryKate waterproofer with mixed results. The cover just soaks up water, it and the inch-work poop goes right through. It has a large rear cuttout-out way around the motor well that also lets in debris and water. it the waterproofer worked well, I might keep using it....But im getting fed up with a constantly wet and dirty boat.

I had a cheapo thin nylon cover that went around the motor also, and covered everything pretty well and kept the boat dry, but it has ripped and frayed.

Can anyone recommend a decent cover that fits well, and has an integrated motor? I dont want to break the bank either. The cover only covers while in driveway only. Its a 20-21' walk-around with full bow rails, single outboard.

Thanks

Nylon is terrible in the sun.

I bought a 5-year semi-custom polyester ENDURAcover from iBoats for my center console with full bow rail. Fits like a glove, impressive quality, keeps the rain and dirt out, was not expensive, and came with free straps (though I had to buy more straps, too). Has an elastic cord around the whole hem, half the time I don't even use the straps.

Oh, and has integrated OB hood big enough for my fat pig of an Optimax.

Find somebody that can make you a cover out of Top Notch fabric, heads and tails way better than sunbrella and will be the last cover you ever buy.

Cheap covers are just that, cheap.
