In your case 150 to 170 will not make much of a difference since they are the same basic type of bullet. Use the brand and bullet weight your guns likes best and stick with it season after season, spend some time at the range, stay still on your stand and put that venison where it belongs- In your belly. Good luck in the upcoming season. Oh yea, always use round nose or flat nosed ammo in tube type mags.
