Reconnecting oil injection

Sorry for all the posts still waiting for manuel in the mail. On an 88 225 yamaha do the small oil tubes that go down to the pump with the six nipples go in a certain order or does it not matter. Thanks again

yes, not ponly does it matter it matters a lot.
also make sure the drive shaft for the pump is still in place
when ya get it all going again run the first 10 gallons of fuel at 50/1 and mark the remote tank to insure its usuing oil.

There is a order to what outlet goes to what cylinder for the oil injection? You mean kinda like a firing order for the spark plugs? I did not know that there was a specific order for the oil injection lines. If this is true how do you determine what goes where? Thanks

You did order a Yamaha factory manual right? What is the complete model number of this motor? As I recall there was the original oil pump and there was a replacement or conversion pump. They are different and require different tubes. One had external check valves and the other had the check valves built into the pump.
