If you continue to get no hits on this forum try asking over on the motor specific threads. Maybe a mod can move it over there. My guess is more people would recognize it on there.
Looks to be a VR. Also looks to be in a lousy place. I do not know anything about Force mortors, but it looks like it is vulnerable to getting banged by the cowling, and disconnecting from the bracket. it also looks like it is starting to burn up.
