Here's to all who think buoys merely mark a suggested route....<br /><br />Busy day, no wake channel - ends in narrow passage marked by red buoy on right (heading inland). Pretty much forces single file traffic. Bozo in go-fast at end of line gets tired of idle speed and decides to go around wrong side of buoy. Peace is shattered by the sound of his lower unit being ripped off by rocks at about 40 kt. <br /><br />Waves down passing traffic asking for tow - turns out his VHF is not in the boat (although his 600 Watt stereo seemed to be in good order) and he can't call for help.<br /><br />Not being in any immediate danger, nobody would go near the idiot although we did call the CG for him to report a disabled craft. We should have also reported a disabled brain....
