Hi fellas,
Curious whether this stator is bad...
I get 697 ohms across green/white and white/green.
This should be ok, (i believe) however from the blue wire to engine ground I have around 600 ohms, in the test pages I've seen on here this should read open. Is this thing done for, or am I looking at another problem????
1996 Mercury Jet 45- Runs fine at low speed, get up to planing speed and the motor will quit like I turned the key off. I can then start it right back up again and idle around at half throttle all day long. Problem cropped up yesterday, ran fine the last 50 times I've had the thing out.
