Man, who in their right mind would put their boat through that?! Well, I guess you don't need a trailer anymore. That saves a couple thousand. I would just hate to see how scratched up that keel is.

Now, I hate to be all pessimistic and stuff BUT,...... I just know I'm going see some clown duplicating this.....maybe in the news,.... more likely on the road..... and said clown will be saying " I saw it online ":D:D

BTW....there was a thread on here a while ago about sledding in a boat...in which the topic of dragging various things ( including a boat ) around behind a vehicle.:D

Back in the 80's when Ford was advertising the F150's by showing them bounding over big rocks, someone in Salt Lake City bought one, paid for it with a check, and drove it up the mountain till he high centered it on a big boulder, breaking the transmission case wide open. He walked back down, stopped payment, and told the dealer to go get it.

It went to court. His take was that it didn't do what the advertisement showed. The jury told the dealer he owns the truck.

Soon after, Ford quit showing that commercial.

re: advertising: a friend's brother was in a Jeep ad, and said after every "jump" the motor would shut off; they'd stop the camera, restart, and carry on, and let the film editors fix the motor!

i must have missed that thread.

one winter when we had a good snow a bunch of us hooked my cousins 12' flatbottom onto the back of my suped up 250 quadracer........... it was fun one at a time, with 2 or more the 4-wheeler couldnt get enough traction to take off fast and recover from turns well. after playing in the field for a while we decided to find at least one stretch of smoother ground and ended up hitting a elec pole head on with the boat during a swinging turn ........ my cousin was in the boat but he was ok, it was hilarious watching him fly from the back of the boat head first into the front seat........ its a good thing he was wearing a helmet, but the only reason we were wearing it at first was because of all the debris flying off those wooly booger tires . we played until we were so cold, and hurt from crashes, that we had to limp back inside(literally for some of us lol) and recuperate :D

That's a classic - one of my favorites.

Look for Triumph at the boat shows.... All the pretty cruisers and high-dollar stuff has "no shoes" signs all over them - and a bunch of sales-weasels enforcing the rules.

The Triumphs all have a sign that says something to the effect of: "Leave your shoes on, we're tough enough to handle it". I was an instant fan.

One of these days I'll have to buy one, just because their sales pitch is cool.. :p
