Can you refinish pontoons to make them look like they just came off the show room floor? I am taking on a toon project and wanted to know what it takes to refinish the toons. Also I have seen some pontoons on the lake and they seem to look like there is water in them(my boat doesn't), but can that be taken out easily? Thanks in advance!

Neat link! A little expensive for a canoe though,,lol!

I was thinking boy the canoe would look great all buffed out like that airplane, then I got to the bottom of the page, ouch!

I could spend that for a pontoon but not on my canoe.

Does anyone know what American Airlines uses on their airplanes? That seems durable.

A good start is acid wash that truckers use on their tractor trailers. Some guys go nuts on wet sanding and polishing toons. Most recommend applying sharkshide or sharkskin after you have it to a mirror finish.
