registering a trailer and need some weight information

Hi all: I need to register a trailer (old) and I have no information on it. I need the following for the registration forms for Vermont:<br /><br />1) empty weight, and<br />2) weight of trailer and load.<br /><br /><br />The trailer came with my 1984 16' bayliner capri. the trailer is about 20' long, 8' wide, I'd say. It does not have rollers, the boat sits on top of two rails.<br /><br />What do you all best guess the weight of the trailer to be? weight of the boat?<br /><br />Thanks!<br /><br />MAX

well my boat is 16', and it sits on a shorelandr trailer. Sometimes I have to pick the back of the trailer up when attached to truck so I can move it when some jackhole parks too close at the ramp. So I gonna guess 300lbs that just a guess. I dont know how much loaded.

The Trailer weighs 735lbs........<br /><br />The Gross Weight is 2995lbs............

No manufacturer, weight rating label, VIN, etc.?<br /><br />1. Take the entire rig to a public scale and weigh it.<br /><br />2. Launch the boat and tie it up, take the empty trailer back to the public scale and weigh it.
