Registering for iboats

I just registered a friend as a member here on iboats. The proceedure never asked for a password. Now of course when I go to log him in it asks for his user name and password. What to do now????

The password should be emailed to the email address you gave.

Yeah but.....Seems I have a password of my own choosing. It's been so many restos over the dam I don't remember how it went when I signed up. Was I able to change the issued password to one of my own liking?<br /><br />In the meanwhile I will have my friend check his email.

A password is automatically assigned at the beginning, and emailed to you. You can then change it to whatever you want. This is how they verify that you used a real email address.

Cut me some slack, OMC, everyone needs an alter ego. Who knows, maybe PW has an alias as a conservative. <br /><br />Seriously, HE was sitting right next to me as I registered HIM. HE is just not too computer savvy so I was doing it for HIM.<br /><br />ps, he is a boater friend. He has a 24 ft SeaRay with some rot in the floors and I am assisting him in tearing it up. He'll need iboats to figure out how to put it back together again.

I was just pick'in Boomyal, I have a couple of friends that seem to be afraid of the mouse.Just yesterday I had to print out a mapquest map for one of them.
