Its on a 1966 johnson 80 a4al-18c and i picked this up from a freind with a parts motor 1964 75 a4al-16d and if that part is a regulator then i need to get a rectifier cause i have no spark at present, but if it has both , well i then know what to do, I think?
Unless someone has a giagram of this model, but i know better then to ask that so im not worried about it im pretty good at figuring things out, the part in the picture I dont want to wreck it but i think its a regulator rectifier.

Oh yea , reason im asking is these motors came in boxes so i had alot of work to get them where they are, and ive got the one going but this one is giving me a bit of a headace.

Im not getting any spark, ive got fuel and the compression is 120 to 125 so thats good, im thinking i need a rectifier so ill get one and see what happens,
I hope thats all it needs, unless i can use the one off my 1977 chrysler 115 its a rectifier/regulator.
I have power to the coil 12. somthing but have nothing coming out , and i have an ohm reading of .03 at the stator the two yellows, Im not sure how to check the blue and red wires on the stator.
