relays for tilt and trim...can i get them at a hardware store???

hey guys just wondering if i can get 2 relays for my power tilt n trim at a automotive store or hardware store and make a box up myself, instead of buying one on ebay for $70. also, if i can, what type of relay would i ask for? part number or relay type? all help is appreciated, thatnks guys!

I.O,..?? Merc,..?? Volvo,..??
Outboard,..?? What brand,..?? Model, 'n horsepower,..??

yes done many times by others and here is the circuit ...diagram and point to point are the same circuit ...

it is for a 1979 evinrude 115 hp. didnt think that would make a difference in the relays? thanks

tilt is only a motor driving a pump in each direction..dont understand you question but ask for a single pole change over relay and check the numbers match wHat I have given you..personally I solder direct to the tags rather than use crimp on connectors ...

Thank you for this instruction. It helped me too; saved a lot of $$$.
I'd be swabbing a coat of silicon sealant around the seams to keep fuel fumes and moisture out.
