Reman vs. Rebuild

I blew a cylinder head in a 1997 Mercury 150 EFI. Is it worth rebuilding if it is not destroyed instead of buying a remanned powerhead? I have received quotes to rebuild for half the price of buying a reman powerhead.

What kind of warranty comes with the rebuild vs the remanufactured? Thats what I'd be looking at.
