When taking a compression test, to what two points would you hook up a remote starter switch on the starter solenoid? There are four options, two large cables (battery) and two small wires. In my youth when working on cars, I seem to remember hooking up a "small" to a "large," but I do not want to experiment too much so I won't fry anything. :D Please advise. :)

Just hook it to the large wire coming from the battery to the large wire going to the starter. No mistakes that way...

That is not correct. You will connect one of your leads to the large terminal that has the battery cable on it. The other terminal goes on the small connector that has a yellow wire. (One of the small connectors has a yellow wire and one has a black ground wire). Make sure not to short either one of them on anything else. Push the button. That's how it's done.
