Removable fishing deck design

Here is a picture of the bow area of my tri hull.

If you fish this area of the boat you have to stand in the narrow area between the bow seat boxes. My 70 year old father likes to ride up front. I would like to make a removable deck for this area for him to fish on. It will also need a fishing seat like you see in the bass boats up front.
With the bow cushions removed the boxes they rest on make a nice flat area on which a deck could rest. I was thinking of making a sort of hinged deck with a leg under it to support a seat. The deck would rest on top of this flat area and hinge on the outer edges so that it could be removed. On fishing day install the deck and seat and go. On riding day leave the deck out and replace the cushions so he could ride up front. Any design ideas? You guys with the fancy programs get to work! I need ideas.

Hey Dan could you enlarge those pics a bit. I cant really see what going on there. Looks like a great idea though. And do-able. Do the seats fold down and rest on the lower deck to support the fishing seat?

Never mind Dan I went to the Crestliner website and found the pics. See this is why I love this forum! I like this idea very much. It makes things easier. Keep them coming! I would have to have the seat cushions professionally made I think to get a decent looking folding seat. I really like the idea. It would take permanently closing in the space forward of the seats then making the seat pads and mounting a receiver in the lower deck. It could be done.

Just make sure the bow fisherman has good enough sea legs to stand on a bow deck when necessary, cause you will end up with a raised deck...okay for fishing, not so stable for cruising.

I made a removable fishing deck on my bow-rider. The seat cushions can be place directly over the top, or the deck can be removed and cushions placed in stock location.
