Has anyone removed the EGR line from the 1998-2001 5.0 or 5.7L?
Any know problems?

you get poor fuel economy, the exaust cross-over is missing from the intake manifold so that tube was invented to warm the manifold

O, I thought it was for better emissions. Isn't cold air intake desirable for performance?

That too, carbs need a little heat, fuel injection dosent
