Hi everyone,
Sorry if this was already answered but I searched and could not find it. I am trying to remove the gear lube reservoir on our new to us boat to chase down a leak of lube in to the engine compartment. The reservoir get coated with oil when I run the boat in the fairly high rpm range.
There is a large silver "nut" on the bottom where the tube goes in. I loosened that but now I can not get it off all the way nor can I tighten it up now.
Has anyone every removed one before? How?
