Re: removal of stubborn mercrusier 888

Much to my dismay it looks like my boat if off to the professionals. I have tried all of the great advice I have been given here and I just cant get it to come off. I really appreciate everyones assistance. I got despariate and pulled a stupid human trick and tried to tie it off to a tree and drive off. thought the boat was secured well but the cable on my winch. Long story short 3/4 of the boat was hanging precariously off the end of the trailer in my driveway. I was able to push it back on with some help and didnt do any major damage except to the trailer. I have decided its not worth risking irreverable damage just to save a couple hundred bucks on labor. Once again Thanks to everyone in this forum for their help. You are all AWESOME people.

I thought you said the motor was junk... my bad.

I still would have pulled the motor... anything that stuck and the coupler deserves a looking at.

Please follow up and let us all know how you make out at the shop.

Have you tried pushing the drive back in and then re-pulling it, it sounds like it so close to coming out but what others have said may be your only way, good luck.
