I've tried as hard as I can to pull this bulb out with my fingers. Its a courtesy light in my Cabriolet 350. I want to switch all the courtesy lights to LED, but so far this type of bulb is a road block. Any help on how to remove this bulb and which LED lights would make good replacements would be much appreciated.

Looks like a capless bulb , should just pull out . You can also line the inside of the light fitting with aluminium tape to act as a reflector . I have replaced such bulbs in the dash of my Ford Capri , you have to get the polarity right with led's but there are colour choices 🙂.

Yeah...looks like a 'wedge' bulb, probably a 194. Sometimes you have better luck with a slight twist from side to side. Wrap a piece of masking tape around it and give it a hard tug. I replaced my dash lights that were this style with bulbs from:

GLASS body ? Always WEAR work gloves to prevent broken bulb glass going deep in to flesh of a finger.
