Can you/should you remove the brass tube in the middle of the carbs when cleaning? Seems like I did once on an older model, but the ones in this motor don't seem to want to come out. Thanks. Jbo

And while we're on it, can anybody tell me what size welch plug is over the high speed jet 'access'? I did a rebuild and think I need to work on the openings again, but of course would need a new plug. Hate to buy a whole kit just to get the plugs. Jbo

The main nozzle is not indicated as a separate part on that model. The idle chamber (top) core plug is part number 306442, the one on the side is 307542

The high speed jet is found in the carburetor bowl.------It is about 5/8" long and is screwed in horizontally.

Yes. Tiny screwdriver to back it out? Does it just fully seat or should I count turns? Thanks. Jbo

Sorry for the double posts. Keeps telling me it didn't work when it really did. Jbo
