Remove Mercruiser throttle cable guide?

Can these be removed? Cant locate any screws. How do I remove the metal anchor retainer in the attached pic?

Ayuh,..... If yer's is removable, that brass circle to the left of the arrow in yer picture, will be 2 square head brass set screws, 1 in from each side, lockin' the cable,.....

If ya got rivets there, yer outa lick, 'n it's a one time use thing,....

Uggg, no set screws or rivets. Just the silver barrel at the end.

Bondo, there on I/Os his cable looks like the outboard cables. If you have an I/O there the wrong cables

It's a 3.0 I/O from 2004.

Did you need a shift cable upper or lower
