Removing Alpha One outdrive

Unfortunately I dont have an alignment tool.

Its a 2000 model, so Gen II. Im not sure who worked on it last but someone has been in there because the u joints have "Singapore" stamped on them.

And what makes you think Mercruiser dosent inport parts from there?
The alum ring is installed first using the proper tool so as not to bend it during install.
The rubber ring is glued in next with contact cement or weatherstrip adhesive or bellows adhesive flush against the alum ring
