Removing Drive Shaft Oil Seal 1977 70 hp

I am trying to remove the drive shaft oil seal on my 1977 70 hp Evinrude motor. Is it all one piece? I have seen a video of a guy punching it through but mine is tearing.

Often the correct size socket , cheap ones are just right to drive those seals out.

10-4. Thanks for the reply. I will try a 5/8 deep well socket and report back.
