The thru hull tips on my boat metal flappers in them as well as exterior rubber flaps on the end to keep water from rushing back up into the exhaust. The metal flappers inside are extremely annoying especially at idle.
I was looking at a buddy of mines boat...he has a '98 Donzi with 454 mag and thru hull...His looks very similarly setup but he has NO flappers in his tips, just the rubber ones on the outside...
Will these rubber flappers do the job alone??
